• Do Your Homework – Manufacturers will market and advertise their products to make it sound like they are the best of the best. Always do your due diligence and learn as much as you can about a particular product and manufacturer before buying. Look through the materials’ description, read the labels, talk with a sales rep and learn as much you can to see if they truly do offer genuine Egyptian cotton. 

• Look At The Length – Again, length staple and purity are going to be some indicators here. If you see a designation that the product uses long or extra-long-staples, chances are its genuine Egyptian cotton. If you don’t see any mention of it, then you can’t be 100 percent its pure Egyptian cotton and should consider finding another bedding sheet set to go with.
